BMW F10 xDrive Winter

With BMW’s all wheel drive snow can’t stop you from driving.

BMW xDrive is the marketing name for the four-wheel drive system by BMW.

xDrive is the permanent all-wheel drive system from BMW: under normal circumstances, it distributes driver power between the front and rear axles in a 40:60 ratio, and changes this figure variably when the road surface or overall driving conditions change.

Together with the long wheelbase of 2,670 millimetres and raised roofline, this configuration enables the room inside to be maximised, resulting in an unprecedented feeling of spaciousness.

This way both driver and passengers gets more space and a higher position which results in a better all-round view.

The cabin has a light and spacious feel to it, with all surfaces horizontally structured in a layered look. There is also the option of a large panoramic roof that lets light flood into the interior.

In this car were used high-tensile and ultra-high-tensile multi-phase steels.

Once I heard the rumors that this car will be made by BMW I did not believe it 100% but now it is a reality, well it is still hard for me to believe that now BMW makes front wheel family cars. I am used to know BMW as a rear wheel drive cars more sport oriented.

Now it will be like Mercedes who makes everything, may be from financial point of view this makes sense and I am sure it makes but how about being unique and have your own niche related strongly to certain speciality of a car?
